Vegan & Gluten Free Thanksgiving Recipes | The Adirondack Chick

Many of you likely have your Thanksgiving menus already planned out, but if you're like me, you have an idea of what you're going to make, but there's always room to add another dish or experiment a little.

While I usually discourage people from trying a new recipe before a big crowd comes over, I do it all the time.? In my case, however, I'm usually the only one eating vegetarian, vegan or gluten free at the holiday dinners, so if it doesn't come out good, I'm the only one who suffers. Regular readers know that for the holidays we all bring food to my grandmothers house, and I'm surrounded by kielbasa and sauerkraut, cabbage rolls, some type of roast and of course other non-vegetarian food.

So, here are a few of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes that will please any vegetarian at the table. Most of them are vegan and gluten free, too! Click on the name of the dish to go to the corresponding recipe.

Cranberry Black Rice Stuffed Acorn Squash?
